Amy’s outfit was the definition of classic. She wore a black top and leopard skirt, topped with the cutest floppy hat. As a special accent, she brought a bouquet of fresh cut flowers from her family greenhouse. There we were, in the heart of the city with traffic on all sides. Everywhere around us people bustled quickly as they finished up their work day. Here and there, leaves lay scattered. Scattered where they had fallen as a brisk fall breeze brushed past them. The hostas were dying and turning yellow. Hydrangeas that had bloomed, full and white in summer, still held to their bushes. They had now turned a soft, reddish yellow hue. Yet, they too had their own beauty. But brighter, and more beautiful shone Amy’s smile.

I’ll check in with the occasional fashion trends, but mostly I stick to tried and true classics. You can imagine my delight when Amy showed up in the cutest fall outfit that looked like it could have walked out of my own closet. But as much as I loved her outfit, what really stuck with me was her personality. Amy has a sweet, heart warming smile that could light up a whole room. When I found out that Amy had brought the flower’s from her own family business, I was all ears. I’m no expert in any sense of the word, but I do love trying out my hand with fresh floral bouquets. After the session, she sent the flowers home with me as a special gift!

Amy, you are such a dear. I absolutely loved spending time with you and can’t wait to do it again! Keep on shining and warming hearts with your smile.
