Caroline is the oldest of five girls and the third sister to get married within a year! Their wedding dawned with a light, sprinkling rain but quickly became a torrent. I woke up to gray clouds outside my hotel window and immediately thought of Caroline. I knew she must be disappointed since they had planned an outdoor ceremony but when we arrived at The Barn on Stoney Hill, I was in for a surprise. As soon as I walked into her getting ready room, she greeted me with a big smile and I knew exactly why I immediately loved her upon our first meeting. Caroline is one of those people who’s kind, genuine, and immediately gives others permission to do the same.

Over and over again throughout the day, people shared about the little steps that eventually brought Ben and Caroline together on their wedding day. From randomly striking up a conversation with a stranger in a camping store to Caroline finding in Ben all the things she had prayed for in a husband, the entire journey was marked by God’s hand.

The people who came to celebrate with them meant a lot to Ben and Caroline and they were one of the last ones to leave after spending time with as many guests as possible. Celebrating with over 200 family and friends, The Barn on Stoney Hill was the perfect backdrop for their wine and navy color palette and stunning bouquets from Aroma Florist. Caroline walked down the aisle with her sisters and a close friend as her bridesmaids. As the oldest girl in the family, it was a very special day and I loved to see the way her sisters celebrated her.

Ben and Caroline, I am so so happy for you! You’ve both waited so long for this day and it just makes my heart happy to see you two together! 🙂 Thank you so much for trusting us with these precious memories and for your grace with us in working with the rain.
