The Indiana fall air was chilly and a fine mist fell. A crisp breeze rustled the brilliant autumn leaves around their home. But their love for each other lit the camera. They had been married for almost two and a half years. A year ago, a little boy with big blue eyes and blond hair had joined the family. Four little baby teeth showed when he grinned. Logan was just starting to walk. Coaxed with a leaf, we thought he might demonstrate for us but nope, not this time.

Roman and Sarah had just moved to Indiana from Missouri. This was their first fall season at their dream home. As a special tribute, they wanted their first photoshoot as a family on their home property. Their log home was the perfect fit for Roman’s love of all things Western. They so graciously invited us inside and I loved hearing all about their remodeling plans. From updating the kitchen to changing up the layout of the house, you know I’m always interested in home design and decor.

Roman and Sarah, thank you so much for your warm, gracious hearts. I love the way you so obviously love each other and how much you adore your little boy. Welcome to Indiana! I hope it’s everything you’ve ben hoping for and more! Aaron and look forward to getting to know you better. I can’t wait to see how you continue to update your home and make it a place you love to spend time as a family.
