After Nora directed us to the location, we headed across the field and my mind started spinning. She had told me that there were pine trees and some nice grassy areas but it was even better than I had dared to hope. With temperatures in the upper 60’s it would prove to be the last nice weather of the year and the sun shone warmly. After I had taken only a few shots though, a large group of clouds covered the sun and I knew we would have to act fast.

I met Toby and Nora several years ago and actually babysat their children when they were BABIES! Or at least they seemed like they had been babies when I saw how much they had grown! Joe Dean and Jeremy brought their four-wheeler and after we took a couple pictures, we got them to show us their wheelies! I’m not into muscle cars and big trucks but even I thought that four-wheeler looked kind of fun! (Yes, I know, I know! I’m comparing a four-wheeler to a Chevy dually, but what can I say?) Julie is the sweetest little blond loving her first year of school while Jyl is a spunky little bundle of energy.

Toby and Nora are such a joy to be around and I loved getting to catch up on their lives after not seeing them for close to a year. I think couples should grow throughout their marriage and be more in love as the years pass. Its easy to see when a couple is comfortable and in love with each other and Toby and Nora are such a great example of that. Just as we were finishing up the session, the sun lowered past the cloud bank and of course I had to get a few more shots with those golden rays! They were more than willing to comply and needless to say, those ended up being some of my favorite photos of the night.

Thanks so much for your generous, giving hearts Toby and Nora. Somehow I have a feeling you share that with everyone you meet!
